>> WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We have two locations! We’re located in Wadsworth at 1219 High Street, Suite 108, or in Medina at 124 N. Court Street, Unit B.
>> HOW MUCH ARE CLASSES?
We offer several class purchase options including drop-in rates, class passes and unlimited memberships. Students new to the studio can enjoy a two week trial of unlimited classes for $40. Learn more about our pricing here!
>> HOW DO I REGISTER FOR CLASSES OR EVENTS?
You can register for classes via the Schedule page on our website, however for a better user experience we recommend downloading the Roots Yoga app available in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

>> WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
All purchases online or through the Roots Yoga App must be made with a major credit card. In-person purchases in Wadsworth may be made in cash (no bills larger that $20). Our Medina studio is a cashless facility.
>> IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT TO ATTEND CLASS AT ROOTS YOGA?
Students must be 13+ to attend class without a parent or guardian present. We ask that a parent or guardian attends the first class with them, but then the student may attend on their own after the first visit. Students under age 13 are required to have a parent or guardian with them at all times and all classes. A signed waiver must be on file for every person in attendance and signed by a parent or guardian for anyone under age 18.
Additionally, we also offer classes specifically for kids! Check the workshops page and look out for our kids aerial and kids yoga sessions.
>> I’M A BEGINNER, WHERE SHOULD I START?
For students new to yoga, we suggest a Yoga Foundations or Gentle class for your first visit however you may attend any class you’re interested in. Let your instructor know that you’re new (don’t be shy, we all start somewhere!) and know that you’ll be offered modifications to increase or decrease the level of intensity of your practice. For students new to barre or other classes, you may attend any regularly scheduled class. Again, let your instructor know that you are new. Listening to your body, going at your own pace and modifying as needed are core elements of all of our classes at Roots Yoga & Barre, regardless of your fitness or experience level.
>> CAN I FREEZE MY MEMBERSHIP?
Yes, we allow members to freeze their memberships due to injury only. Limitations and restrictions apply. To freeze your membership send an email to info@rootsyogaohio.com for more information and to discuss the specifics.
>> WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Effective 11/1/24, our cancellation policy is as follows:
There is a standard 2 hour cancellation window for all regularly scheduled classes.
A “Late Cancel” charge of $20 will occur and be charged to the card on file after 3 late cancels (anything inside of the 2 hour window) occur within a 30 day period.
A “No Show” charge of $20 will occur and be charged to the card on file if the reservation is not canceled and you do not show up for a class.
We understand that emergencies may arise and situations may be out of your control. Please contact the studio (and leave a message if needed!) rather than clicking a late cancel if a true emergency arises and you cannot make it to your scheduled class. Once a late cancel or no show charge has processed, we cannot refund or reverse the charges.
>> WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Roots Yoga & Barre does not offer refunds for purchases on drop-ins, class passes or unlimited memberships. Workshops and special events are also non-refundable. Merchandise purchased at the studio can be returned or exchanged within 15 days of purchase, provided the receipt can be located and all items are new, unworn/unwashed, and/or in original packaging.
>> WHEN DOES MY PASS OR DROP-IN PURCHASE EXPIRE?
Passes and drop-in purchases expire 12 months from the purchase date, unless otherwise noted. No exceptions or extensions will be granted.
>> I’M RUNNING LATE! CAN I STILL ATTEND CLASS?
We have a 10 minute grace period for students arriving to class. That means you’ll find the doors open up to 10 minutes after the start time of class and you may enter the studio. After 10 minutes the front door may be locked (if there is no desk yogi) and you may be denied entry. If you are entering the class late, please be quiet and respectful as to not distract the other students.
>> WHAT IF I HAVE TO LEAVE EARLY?
If you need to leave class early for any reason, please let the instructor know prior to the start of class. Please choose a spot near the door and leave before the savasana (in yoga classes).
>> HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK?
When a class has hit maxiumum capacity and a waitlist is formed, you may see the option to add yourself to the waitlist. You will be notified of automatic waitlist promotion up to 2 hours before the start time of the class and will be charged only if a space becomes available. Notifications can come via push notification (in the Roots Yoga App) or via email depending on your notification settings. You can check your position on the waitlist through the Roots Yoga app or under your class schedule reservations. You will be charged a no-show or cancelation fee as detailed above for any canceled or missed visits, even if you were originally on the waitlist. Please make sure you cancel your waitlist reservation if your plans change.
